Bilbo Baggins is a very settled hobbit who has no use for adventures—“nasty, disturbing, uncomfortable things!” But when Gandalf the Wizard and a group of Dwarves come knocking with an opportunity to join a quest for stolen gold, he is swept into an extraordinary journey far beyond the comforts of home. Will trolls, giant spiders, and the terrifying dragon, Smaug, be too much for Bilbo and his friends? Or is the threat within themselves greater than any creature they face?
Tolkien’s timeless tale springs to life in this highly theatrical celebration of courage and friendship. Join us on an epic journey through Middle Earth!
Running Time: 2hrs + a 20min intermission
