It is 1903, and mathematician Henrietta Leavitt has one grand obsession: determining the size of our galaxy. There is only one problem: her dream may just be too big for her! Leaving her family behind to work at her dream job at the Harvard Observatory, Henrietta discovers instead she is to join a group of women called “computers” and confined to data entry behind closed doors. Not to be deterred, Henrietta pursues her big ideas in secret, but things do not always go as planned! With such an irresistible calling, will Henrietta find her place on Earth and in this vast universe?
Based on a true story, and bursting with music and mathematics, Henrietta and her female peers will change the way we understand both the heavens and Earth.

Our venue is wheelchair accessible. We have four wheelchair accessible seats available in the front row at every performance. If stairs are an impediment, just make sure you select a “mobility accommodation” ticket when you buy your tickets and we will reserve it for you! We also have a wheelchair accessible washroom and will reserve the parking stalls directly in front of the venue for our “mobility accommodation” ticketholders.

Parking can be found in the lower parking lot in front of our building as well as around the corner on 97 Ave, which has street parking about a 3 minute walk from our venue.
The upper parking lot that is marked “Malick Media” is reserved for our landlords.

Our performance space is a warehouse converted to a flexible black box theatre that seats up to 130 people. The venue has a small lobby with patron washrooms and concessions. We share a parking lot with a film studio, church, and bistro.
We are located in Walnut Grove, just five minutes from the 200 St Exit off Hwy 1 and one minute from the Golden Ears Bridge.
